Brushing Teeth

Brushing teeth correctly is very important for both children and grown ups.

A daily dental hygiene routine of brushing twice a day can go very far in preventing future cases of tooth decay and gum disease.

Children dentists recommend brushing your child's teeth twice a day with fluoride toothpaste.

There is not need to put a lot of paste on the brush. A small amount will go a long way. Younger children usually tend to swallow a large portion of the toothpaste. Swallowing too much fluoride toothpaste is not recommended as it can lead to permanent stains on teeth.

We usually get very excited when we start seeing our kid's first teeth coming out. But we tend to forget that this is also the time to start caring for our child's dental future. As soon as teeth start to appear, we need to start brushing our child's teeth twice a day.
